Rev Up Your Engines: LEGO’s Formula 1 Pop-Up Takes Over Wisma Atria with Life-Sized Thrills

LEGO enthusiasts and Formula 1 fans can get ready for a thrilling experience this September at Wisma Atria with the LEGO Technic Grand 'Brix' Pop-Up Experience, running from September 13 to 22, 2024. This event is perfectly timed to coincide with the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix, bringing an exhilarating fusion of motorsport and creative play to the heart of Orchard Road.

At the pop-up, visitors will marvel at a life-sized LEGO replica of the Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance car. Built using 192,937 LEGO bricks, this impressive model took a team of 15 expert builders over 2,400 hours to complete. Spanning 5.12 metres in length and 2.2 metres in width, the model showcases intricate details like a LEGO steering wheel with rotatable selectors and shifting pedals.

For those looking to engage in interactive fun, the pop-up offers several racing-themed activities. The LEGO Race Training station challenges participants to test their reflexes in a light-based challenge, while the Build for Speed station simulates a Formula 1 pit stop, where visitors can race to change the tyres of a LEGO vehicle. Those with a competitive spirit can also design custom LEGO racing cars and compete against friends on-site.

In addition to the fun activities, visitors will have the opportunity to win exclusive prizes, including a 42165 Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance Pull Back set for the fastest participants. Shoppers can also redeem special LEGO merchandise, like a Technic Passport Holder with a minimum spend of SGD $149, or a Mercedes-AMG F1 poster featuring digital signatures from drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell.

With free admission and activities designed for all ages, this pop-up is a must-visit during the Grand Prix Season Singapore, combining the excitement of Formula 1 with the creative magic of LEGO. Whether you're a motorsport fan or a LEGO enthusiast, this experience promises to be an unforgettable part of the F1 festivities.
